Tsubaki, also known as the Japanese Camellia, is a flower that symbolizes all that is beautiful, faithful and divine. This comparison to feminine perfection is applied to introduce traditional dishes rooted in customs and rituals allowing users to immerse into a delicate and exquisite meal experience.  The restaurant’s interior features a modern design with a display of lighting fixtures that will enhance the guest experience. Lighting design is utilized to set the mood and delight guests when the cooking show starts at the hibachi grill. 

Ambient lighting will dim, while accent and task lighting will take control of the focal point by visually creating an atmosphere filled with action from the various cutting and grilling techniques. To contrast this setting, the restaurant also includes a serene and tranquil private dining area with a more serious and intimate dining option.  Lighting in this environment is warm and will radiate warm light through large pendants sitting above the dining table. Cove lighting enhances the cultural experience throughout the restaurant including the bar and booth seating area.
